Rules on Structures
The below are key points of the structural rules. Please refer to the Guidance Note for allotment sheds/greenhouses/polytunnels for more information.

Tenants must submit in writing and agree with the Secretary on the structure they wish to erect within in their plots, including where it will be build.

The elected structure must comply to the measurements given on the Guidance Note for allotment sheds/greenhouses/polytunnels or tenants could be asked to remove the structure.

Structures should be a prefabricated, however if one chooses to construct it themselves the structure must be sound and safe.

Any structure must be in keeping with the surroundings and should be painted dark green or brown.
Rules on Bonfires
The timings when fires are allowed are as follows:
January: Bonfires allowed
February: Bonfires allowed
March: Bonfires allowed
April: Bonfires allowed
May: No bonfires allowed
June: No bonfires allowed
July: Bonfires allowed only on the first Wednesday of the month
August: Bonfires allowed only on the first Wednesday of the month
September: Bonfires allowed only on the first Wednesday of the month
October: Bonfires allowed only after 4pm
November: Bonfires allowed
December: Bonfires allowed
Important note: Bonfires are not meant for plastics, rubber, recyclable goods or noxious materials. When having a bonfire ensure that you have a clear area around the edge of your fire; do not let the flames get too big; do not pour petrol on it; and do not leave your plot while the fire is still smouldering.
